So the Austin ISU club has to kibosh their big BBQ tailgate party they have done in past years due to ISUAA group policies around COVID. But there are club members still organizing some (responsible) parties both before and after the game if you're in town!
Pre-game gathering:
Scholz Garten
16th and San Jacinto (a few blocks south of stadium)
In their large covered courtyard out back
Opens at 8:30a with limited food menu
Post-game party:
Blind Pig Pub
317 E. Sixth St.
Opens 11a - 2a
For those that came back for the 2018 game this is the same place that hosted the club's big Friday night pre-party! We'll be again up on their large open-air covered rooftop watching other games on their two 20-foot TVs. The mgt has also booked a couple of bands throughout the day to get your Live Music Capital fix
Just note that the city requires masks to get in the door. You will be reminded by staff to wear them if standing or moving around but can remove them once you find a seat with drink or food. This place should be easy to find because they will be flying a large ISU flag over the street!
