Kansas State is the only Big 12 team favored in its bowl game and that line is moving the wrong way. Already down to a pick some places. The Big 12 will outperform expectations. No doubt in my mind. I really like K-State, Okie State and Iowa State. Baylor and Texas are 50/50.
The intangibles favor ISU big time against Notre Dame. The Irish just went 10-2 after making the playoff last year and now they're in the Camping World Bowl playing what they see on paper is a 7-5 Iowa State team? The Cyclones will definitely be the more motivated team and are better than their record. It will be a much tougher challenge for Notre Dame than they're expecting. They're going to be disappointed about playing an inferior team and will be surprised to find out we aren't as inferior as they thought. I think we win and look good doing it. Start the hype train for next year and preseason rankings. Hell, maybe we even end up ranked this year with a victory.
